Your Experience Matters: Share Feedback on Medicaid, SNAP, and Other Texas Services
Texans who use programs like Medicaid, SNAP, or 2-1-1 have a chance right now to share their experiences and help improve how these services work. Your feedback can directly shape how the state communicates, responds, and connects people to the support they need across Texas.
The Texas Sunset Advisory Commission is reviewing how key health programs are working and looking for ways to improve how they serve Texas families. This review includes major health agencies, such as the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). Hearing directly from Texans is a critical part of that process.
We’ve shared other ways to provide input to Sunset, including recent opportunities focused on maternal health and new parents. This is another way to make sure a broader range of experiences—especially from those interacting with programs like Medicaid, SNAP, or 2-1-1—are part of the conversation.
Our partner, Texas Impact, is collecting feedback through two short surveys. Responses will be shared with the Sunset Advisory Commission to help inform their recommendations.
