Making Progress in Congress! A New Way for Medicaid Expansion Supporters to Speak Up

We’re excited that Texas Medicaid expansion supporters are making progress on TWO different fronts!

First, we want to say thank you to everyone who already took action last week to urge the Biden administration to push for expanded health coverage as it negotiates the Texas Medicaid funding plan (“1115 Medicaid Waiver extension”).

If you didn’t do it yet, there’s still time to visit the #SickOfItTX website and send your message to the Biden administration before the August 30th deadline.

Second, we’re thrilled that Congress is making progress towards passing a plan to provide health coverage to uninsured adults in the 12 states that have turned down Medicaid expansion — including Texas!
